This is the in harmony podcast Real conversations with the people living and working with our technology How it's changing their days their families their practices and their communities hosted by our co-founder cred goldberg Let's get in harmony All right another episode of the in harmony podcast and I am joined by the very spectacular mickey mcgillan and Mickey you've been using our tech for a long time as well. What an honor To be able to sit down and have a conversation about our technology. Thank you so much for being here Thank you for having me.
Yes, the technology certainly makes my hypnotherapy business stand apart from the rest and There are so many people who are just amazed Amazed by what it does for them And You know, this is an exciting conversation for me because when you think about hypnotherapy Nlp All of these different modalities that kind of focus on reprogramming the subconscious tapping into the subconscious Now all of a sudden you're taking your voice, which is obviously quite powerful and amplifying that to the entire body Your clients are feeling that throughout their entire body. I definitely want to get into how you're incorporating that into your practice But before that take me back to when you first found in harmony What was going through what was happening in your life? What was going through? How did you find us? Like what's the origin story of how we began working together? I was looking for a stress reliever Um, I had a high stress technical job in business intelligence and I love technology And I was just looking for that edge up even Calming that nervous system is key just for clarity of the mind Being able to think through difficult complex problems And I came across an in harmony ad and I I wanted to try it. So I bought a sound lounge and it was amazing.
Even my grandson loves it And he has all his little favorite songs and my daughter is surprised Because he has a lot of energy. She's like, how do you keep them? So calm? like between hypnotherapy and sound therapy We got discovered how so you're looking for it personally and then adapted it to your business or Then I brought it into my business because if it It helped me in such a way and it was immediate Even things with um heartburn I would try everything from tums roll aids Everything you can think of calm down heart Less than a minute on a soundbed Relieved it It just it was amazing just powerful So You can't go on please always I continue to Look for other holistic Ways of just helping myself and other people I started with um clinical hypnotherapy and Then brought that into my practice because I wanted just to share it with others People don't know a lot about it And I really recommend a try try this. It's it's um, amazing Was there a moment when you thought okay, this is different Sounds like that's what we're kind of talking about right now, right? so what was it about the comparison between sound and vibration versus Pharmacological or alchemaic solutions that you were looking for toms and that sort of thing But what was it that kind of clicked where you're like, wait a minute.
This is different It worked Just like hypnosis it works Okay Who you already kind of shared a little bit about this but family clients? Anybody that was skeptical sounds like your daughter a little bit But like who else is using this technology in addition to I know we covered some of this already Yeah, so, uh My grandson I started him on the sound therapy Sound lounge when he was four years old and he has all of his favorite songs my Grand or my daughter is amazed with how calm I keep him and it's It's just it really helps I believe. Um Calm down the nervous system And you're feeling this music vibration run through your whole body every cell in your body How old's your grandson now he's eight now, yeah, so i've been using the technology for about four years And Just talk to the longevity of the product and its performance and and that sort of thing, you know, obviously electronics can have issues and we work through it, but uh Still working four years later Yeah, and I use it every day with my clients So i'll see two clients two to three clients a day and It's it helps with a deepening technique with hypnosis. So it really calms them down just to let go and Everyone I haven't had one complaint Everyone's like Wow, i've never experienced this before This is amazing.
I have never felt so calm Right, it's like one person after another that you put on the deck you're just like oh this is so exciting I put tens of thousands of people on it. So I certainly can appreciate that Uh, are you doing hypnosis through the technology? I am not so what I do I usually have um, uh An intake a client intake to really identify what's going on And then we'll use the sound therapy because I I look for Energy points in their body like what's off. So we'll do the chakra Self-echo frequencies Mm-hmm As a deepening technique, so now they're super relaxed then I bring them back to the hypnosis chair And ask well, how was that experience? Oh goodness.
I you know some people Go off into another place, but I usually set the intention Think of your future self What does that future self look like? And they have such vivid. Um Vivid visions of their future self. Um You know one client's working on passing the bar.
He's seeing himself passing the bar and a partnership with his Best friend you know another is Learning to walk again and seeing herself walking. It's just powerful. It is powerful Yeah, so what's really interesting about that is the brain doesn't know the difference between This reality a dream Or or a vision or or something else, right? So you're training the subconscious mind to tell you this it's more for everybody else You're training the subconscious mind to get after that and hold it as a truth than a possibility Because they can see it in their mind's eye.
It's a really powerful exercise And a really powerful way Uh for the human body to break down barriers and understand that something is possible I was watching an interview by mr. Beast powerful youtuber and he was talking about these wild and crazy ideas that he gets and his staff constantly knocking him down of like He wanted to do a show and he wanted to shoot a video in the pyramids And and his team basically poo-pooed on it and was like no, that's I don't I don't think we can do that He was like well Have we gotten a no from from the you know from leadership in egypt and they're like well No, he's like great. Then let's find out if we can do this and they did they spent a hundred hours in the pyramids straight And and you know a hundred hours you're looking at four days or so He he said he went all over the pyramids down to the bottom up to the top in In caverns in areas that had never been done before and he replied that back is like hey Until we know it's not possible. It's possible And holding that visualization in your mind's eye I'll share a couple other stories that come up for me When I listen to inspiration I see a very similar Vision of of our future and it's absolutely beautiful brings a tear to my eye every single time But it's it's dom and myself standing on what feels like the world stage with billions of people looking at us Showering us with gratitude and appreciation for this technology that we're bringing to the world and then dom and I start to float backwards and all of our affiliates you and our team and and and our Logistics team and our operations team and our marketing teams They all drift forward They're almost floating in front of us as dom and I fall to the back to watch Our teams take recognition for what they've done it's it is the most beautiful i'm getting chills like as I am too it's the most beautiful experience that I get to see and and Owning a business is difficult.
It's challenging. It comes with all the beautiful aspects of of raising something to to bloom and And this is the vision that I hold And and hold on to as this is the outcome. This is the future.
This is where we're going I know it's possible because i've seen it and my body does too and It helps me to push through all of those challenges and the two that you just shared passing the bar Definitely not easy starting a law firm visualizing that with your best friend certainly to walk again, and we've heard several stories throughout our ecosystem of these unbelievable recoveries that people have had from Catastrophic injury and issue and mishap and and they pull through and they credit our technology with giving them the the possibility and the realm of possibility that this is Going to happen and that it can be done and then obviously they see it through. It's a really powerful Example I think of the human spirit and the human capability of what we're all capable of and I think another good lesson that That god creator whatever you want to call it gives you the universe only gives you what you can handle and as Catastrophic and as as dismal and as bleak as the future might look at some point There is a way and you can push through it and we've heard obviously countless stories of that And I think hypnosis is really powerful for that as well To get the mind into a calm and relaxed space and And obviously I think our technology really helps with that So if um, if it were if someone were sitting in your seat six months before you made your purchase What would you tell them? As far as the impact that our technology, I know we've alluded to this a lot But what would the message be for somebody who's considering in harmony? Bringing vibroacoustic therapy into their world personally business-wise. What would your message be to them? I looked at several um Vibroacoustic Sound therapy furniture sets and in harmony there was customer service That's number one and Just being uh heard um if I ever did have a problem which It was minimal You know something doesn't sound right or okay, you walked me through it.
You were there um That was that's really important and the quality So i've had it for four years Still running sounds great And is it multiple times a week? It's awesome, I appreciate that look we have we have sound lounges that are running for 10 years Our first one came out out of production in november of 2016 It's july of 2026 as we're and we still I still get messages from those folks with just pictures and video of like Still going still helping humans feel their best Our technology is really designed to last you a lifetime and and it is designed to run day in and day out We've seen a lot of competitors come on board with I would call more consumer grade products of late And they overheat They don't last more than 35 minutes Our technology is designed to run for hours on end, especially when you use our music meditations Because they have brakes built in to rest the transducers and there's obviously a very specific recipe that goes into building our music meditations, but Mickey, I am so grateful to spend some time with you on camera. I thank you for taking some time to share your experience and A bit of gratitude for your participation in our telegram groups our community The positive words you've put forth Help and support I will tell you this we obviously now have customer service and tech support that is staffed on a regular basis So it's not just me taking those phone calls now, although I still take them quite often And i'm happy to do it nights and weekends. I'm on duty But during the week we do have a team that's now helping and they are far more knowledgeable than I am when it comes to audio Technical resonance sound resonance that sort of thing and i'm obviously pretty capable But we found a team of folks that can help us to do this in a very beautiful way I am so grateful for you taking some time and sharing your thoughts in your world And uh anything you want to close with? Absolutely, I thank you for having me It's an honor Indeed.
Thank you so much and uh Keep your eyes out for more coming from in harmony our clients and folks that are using our technology out in the wild Thank you so much Thank you.
