Limited Product Warranty

Featuring Lifetime Limited Coverage on Amplifiers & Transducers

Warranty questions? We are here to help — support@iaminharmony.com  |  888-276-8040, Option 3

Thank you for choosing inHarmony. This warranty sets out what is covered, for how long, and what happens if you need service.

The amplifier and transducers are the components that turn sound into vibration, and they are the ones we engineer most carefully. We cover them for the lifetime of the original purchaser.

This warranty covers every product we make: our vibroacoustic therapy systems, the Zero Gravity system, our red light therapy products, our hydrogen inhalation machine, and the accessories we design and manufacture ourselves — headphones, cables, eye masks, eye pillows, and carrying bags. Because we manufacture those accessories in house, there is no third-party warranty to chase. You come to us.

However a service call goes, the sequence is the same: we diagnose the issue with you, tell you plainly what we find, and confirm any costs in writing before we do anything. You will not receive an invoice you have not already seen and approved.

If you would like the reasoning behind these terms rather than the terms themselves, we have written that separately — see Built to Last. Easy to Return. at iaminharmony.com. This document governs. For return windows and refunds, see our Return & Refund Policy.

Our team is available 9am–6pm PST. Please call with questions at any time.

What “Lifetime Limited” Means

We want to be completely clear about this coverage, because the word “lifetime” is used loosely across our industry and we would rather you know exactly where you stand.

The Terms

  • Whose lifetime: Coverage extends for the lifetime of the original purchaser — the person or entity named on the original order.

  • Non-transferable: Lifetime coverage does not transfer if the product is sold, gifted, or otherwise changes hands. Subsequent owners are not covered under this provision.

  • Proof of purchase required: Your original receipt or order confirmation is required for every lifetime warranty claim. If you cannot locate it, contact us and we will do our best to find your order in our records.

  • Manufacturer defects only: Lifetime coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship. It is not a service plan, an accident policy, or coverage against wear, misuse, or damage.

  • Parts coverage: Lifetime coverage means we provide the replacement amplifier or transducer at no cost to you. Labor and shipping are addressed separately in the Warranty Service section below and will always be quoted to you in advance.

  • Replacements do not restart the clock: A replacement amplifier or transducer continues under the original lifetime coverage. It does not begin a new or separate warranty term, and it does not extend coverage to any other component.

  • Component substitution: Technology evolves and components are eventually discontinued. If the exact original part is no longer available, inHarmony may supply a functionally comparable replacement of equal or greater capability. This satisfies our obligation under this warranty.

Lifetime Limited coverage applies to the amplifier and transducers only. Every other component carries the coverage period shown in the table above.

General Warranty Terms

These terms apply to all inHarmony products unless a specific product section states otherwise.

When Coverage Begins

All warranty coverage begins on the original date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for every claim.

Proof of Purchase — No Registration Required

We do not ask you to register your product. There is no form to complete, no card to mail, and no coverage lost because a step was missed years ago. Your receipt is all we need — and if you do not have it, that is usually still fine.

  • Your order confirmation or receipt is valid proof of purchase. A forwarded confirmation email works perfectly well.

  • If you cannot find it, we very likely have it. Nearly every order lives in our system. Give us the name, email address, or phone number used at the time of purchase and we will look it up for you.

  • If you purchased through an authorized partner or affiliate, we will verify your order with them directly. We will not send you back and forth between companies — that is our work to do, not yours.

  • Because lifetime coverage extends to the original purchaser only, we may confirm that the name on a lifetime claim matches the name on the original order.

The one situation we cannot resolve is a product bought from an unauthorized reseller or in a private sale. We have no record of those orders, coverage cannot be verified, and lifetime coverage does not transfer to a subsequent owner. If you are considering a secondhand inHarmony product, please call us first and we will tell you honestly what coverage would and would not carry over.

What Is Covered

  • Amplifiers and transducers in all inHarmony vibroacoustic systems — covered for the lifetime of the original purchaser against manufacturer defects.

  • Structural components including mattress, cushion, platform, and frame parts — covered for 2 years against defects in materials and workmanship.

  • Red light therapy products — covered for 2 years against factory defects.

  • Hydrogen inhalation machines — covered for 2 years against defects in materials and workmanship. Consumable parts are excluded; see that product section for detail.

  • Headphones and cables — manufactured by inHarmony and covered by us for 2 years against manufacturer defects.

  • Carrying bags and cases — manufactured by inHarmony and covered by us for 2 years against manufacturer defects.

  • Eye masks and eye pillows — manufactured by inHarmony and covered by us for 60 days against material defects.

  • Faux leather and fabric covers — covered for 60 days against material defects.

inHarmony designs and manufactures our own headphones, cables, eye masks, eye pillows, and carrying bags. You do not need to contact a third-party manufacturer for these items — come straight to us.

What Is Not Covered

No inHarmony warranty, including Lifetime Limited coverage, applies to:

  • Use that does not follow inHarmony’s product guidelines or user manual

  • Misuse, abuse, accidents, drops, or unauthorized modification

  • Cosmetic damage of any kind — including scratches, rips, tears, punctures, stains, scuffs, dents, or finish wear — to covers, zippers, fabrics, foams, padding, plastics, or wood components which was not documented through the original shipping of your order

  • Damage from liquid exposure, spills, oils, lotions, or moisture

  • Damage from power surges, improper voltage, lightning, or electrical faults outside the product

  • Damage from pets, insects, or rodents

  • Damage caused by improper packing for a return or repair shipment

  • Repairs or modifications performed by anyone other than an inHarmony-authorized technician

  • Normal wear and tear, including natural compression of foam and fabric over time

  • Consumable and routine-maintenance parts — including hydrogen cells and membranes, filters, tubing, cannulas, humidifier bottles, ear pads, and ear tips

  • Gradual decline in light output over the service life of an LED, which is a normal characteristic of the technology and not a defect

  • Accessories or enhancements not sold directly by inHarmony Interactive

  • Commercial, clinical, rental, or institutional use beyond normal intended use, unless covered by a separate written agreement

  • Any product without valid proof of purchase

inHarmony Interactive, Inc. is not responsible for losses, damages, or inconvenience caused by equipment failure. Our obligation is limited to repair or replacement of the covered component.

How Warranty Service Works

Every warranty claim begins with a conversation, not a shipping label. Our Customer Service and Technical Support teams will work with you to understand exactly what is happening, identify the specific component involved, and lay out the repair path before anything moves.

The Process

  1. Reach out. Contact us at support@iaminharmony.com or 888-276-8040, Option 3. Describe what you are experiencing in as much detail as you can. Photos, video, and audio recordings are enormously helpful.

  2. We evaluate and troubleshoot with you. Our Technical Support team will work through the issue with you by phone, email, or video call. We test systematically — channels, connections, power, app configuration — to isolate what is and is not functioning. A meaningful number of issues are resolved right here, at no cost and with no shipping.

  3. We identify the specific component. Once we know what has failed, we tell you exactly what it is — amplifier, a specific transducer, a cable, a cover, a structural part — and whether it falls under warranty coverage.

  4. We determine the repair path. We will tell you whether the repair can be completed in the field with a part we ship to you, or whether the unit needs to come to one of our facilities. See below for what each path involves.

  5. We outline all costs in writing. Before any work begins or anything ships, you receive a clear written summary of exactly what is being replaced, what is covered under warranty, and what — if anything — you would be responsible for. Nothing proceeds until you approve it.

  6. You authorize, and we proceed. If a shipment is required in either direction, we issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Products sent to us without a valid RMA clearly marked on the outside of the package will be refused.

  7. We complete the repair and confirm resolution. Once the repair is finished, we follow up to make sure your system is performing the way it should.

Our repair facilities are located in San Diego, California; North Carolina; and Foshan, China. Your product or part will be routed to the appropriate facility based on the component and the nature of the repair.

Our Cost Commitment

You will never receive an invoice from us that you did not see and approve first. Specifically:

  • We identify the exact component being replaced before quoting anything.

  • We tell you what the warranty covers and what it does not, in plain language.

  • We provide any shipping, freight, labor, or parts cost in writing before work begins.

  • We do not begin work or ship anything until you have approved the estimate.

  • If we discover something additional once the unit is in our hands, we stop and come back to you with a revised estimate before continuing.

Field-Serviceable vs. Facility Repairs

Where a repair happens determines who covers shipping. Our Technical Support team makes this determination during diagnosis and will explain it to you clearly.

Field-Serviceable Repairs

Many components — including amplifiers and, in many configurations, transducers — can be replaced where your product already sits. When a repair is field-serviceable:

  • inHarmony ships the covered replacement part to you at our expense.

  • We provide written instructions and, where helpful, a live video walkthrough with a technician.

  • There is no need to pack, ship, or be without your product.

  • You may be asked to return the failed component to us; when so, we provide a prepaid return label.

Field service is faster, less expensive, and less disruptive for everyone. We will always pursue it first when it is a viable path.

Facility Repairs

Some issues cannot be resolved in the field — including structural repairs, internal work, some cover replacement, and seam or zipper repair. When a repair is not field-serviceable:

  • The customer is responsible for shipping and freight expenses in both directions, unless inHarmony has agreed otherwise in writing.

  • All shipping costs are quoted to you in advance as part of your written estimate. You approve before anything moves.

  • The product must be packed in its original box or in packaging approved by inHarmony. Damage resulting from improper packing is not covered.

  • A valid RMA number is required and must be clearly marked on the outside of the package.

This applies to cosmetic and non-repairable-in-field items as well. Scratches and rips to covers, zipper failures outside the 60-day cover window, and similar issues are not covered under warranty — but we are still glad to repair them for you. In those cases, parts, labor, and shipping are the customer’s responsibility, and we will quote all of it before proceeding.

After the Warranty Period

Once a component’s warranty period has ended, inHarmony is still here for you. Repairs remain available on a fee basis, covering labor, parts, and shipping. Contact our Support Team and we will walk you through your options and provide a written estimate.

Vibroacoustic Therapy Products

Sound Lounge · Practitioner · Meditation Cushion

Lifetime Limited — Amplifier & Transducers

The amplifier and transducers in your inHarmony vibroacoustic system are covered for the lifetime of the original purchaser against manufacturer defects. This is the core of your system, and it is the part of your investment we protect longest.

  • Amplifier: covered against manufacturer defects for life — including failure to power on, channel failure, internal component failure, and defective output.

  • Transducers: covered against manufacturer defects for life — including dead units, distorted output, rattle or buzz originating from the transducer, and internal failure.

  • Replacement parts provided at no cost for any covered defect.

  • Field replacement wherever possible, with inHarmony covering the cost of shipping the replacement part to you.

Lifetime coverage applies to manufacturer defects only. Physical damage, liquid exposure, power surge damage, and damage from unauthorized repair are excluded — see the General Warranty Terms above.

2 Years — Structural Components

The mattress, cushion, platform, and structural parts of your vibroacoustic system are covered for 2 years from the original purchase date against defects in materials and workmanship. inHarmony covers the cost of labor for authorized structural repairs during this period.

  • Structural defects in the mattress, cushion, or platform

  • Defective internal framing or support components

  • Factory-installed hardware that fails under normal use

60 Days — Faux Leather & Fabric Cover

Your product cover is warranted for 60 days against material defects — flaws in the material itself as manufactured.

  • Covered: material defects present in the cover as manufactured.

  • Not covered: scratches, rips, tears, punctures, stains, snags, pilling, or ordinary wear and tear.

  • Replacement covers are available for purchase at any time.

  • Seam and zipper repairs can be performed at the factory. Parts, labor, and shipping charges apply, and we will quote all of it in advance. With certain products, replaceable covers can be shipped and are field replaceable.

Relationship to Our Return Policy

Our Return Policy governs whether a product can be returned for a refund, including the 30-Day Guided Experience Guarantee and the 100-Day Confidence Guarantee. This warranty governs repair and replacement of defective components, and continues long after any return window has closed. If you are unsure which applies to your situation, contact our Support Team and we will help you find the right path.

Red Light Therapy Products

2-Year Limited Warranty

2 Years — Factory Defects

Your inHarmony red light therapy product is covered for 2 years from the original purchase date against factory defects — flaws present in the unit as it was built.

  • LED arrays and diodes: failure to illuminate, dead zones or dark sections, and premature diode failure.

  • Power supply, driver, and control board: failure to power on, intermittent power, and internal component failure.

  • Timer and control interface: unresponsive controls or display failure under normal use.

  • Housing and internal wiring: manufacturing defects in assembly or connection.

This coverage is limited to factory defects. It is not a general damage or accident policy — see What Is Not Covered below and in the General Warranty Terms.

What Is Not Covered — Red Light

  • Gradual decline in light output over the service life of the LEDs, which is normal and expected

  • Damage from drops, impact, crushing, or improper mounting

  • Damage from liquid, moisture, humidity, or harsh cleaning agents

  • Damage from power surges, improper voltage, or use with a power supply not provided by inHarmony

  • Cosmetic marks on the housing or lens that were not documented at the time of delivery

  • Eye protection, stands, straps, and other included extras beyond material defects at delivery

Red light units are generally compact enough to ship. If a covered defect cannot be resolved through troubleshooting, we will provide an RMA and arrange service. Where a whole-unit or module replacement is the faster path, we will take it.

Hydrogen Inhalation

Standard 2-Year Limited Warranty

2 Years — Standard Coverage

Your inHarmony hydrogen inhalation machine is covered under our standard warranty: 2 years from the original purchase date against defects in materials and workmanship.

  • Generation unit: failure to produce hydrogen, failure to power on, and internal component failure.

  • Pump, sensors, and control board: defective operation, false readings, or failure under normal use.

  • Display and control interface: unresponsive controls or display failure.

  • Housing, factory fittings, and internal seals: manufacturing defects, including leaks originating from factory assembly.

Consumables and Water Quality

A hydrogen machine is the one product in our line with parts that are meant to be replaced over time. We want to be completely clear about which those are, so nothing about a future service conversation is a surprise.

  • Consumable parts are not covered by warranty — including the hydrogen cell and membrane, filters, tubing, cannulas, and the humidifier bottle. These are wear items and are available for purchase at any time.

  • Use distilled water only. Tap, filtered, mineral, or spring water leaves mineral deposits that will scale and damage the cell. Damage caused by using anything other than distilled water is not covered.

  • Follow the maintenance schedule in your user manual, including draining and cleaning intervals. Damage from missed maintenance is not covered.

  • Do not open or modify the unit. The generation cell is a sealed assembly. Opening it voids coverage on the unit.

If you are ever unsure whether something is a covered defect or a consumable reaching the end of its life, call us. We will tell you plainly, and we will tell you the cost before you commit to anything.

Please also note that cannulas, tubing, and other attachments for this machine are final sale once opened. See Consumables & Hygiene Items below.

Accessories Manufactured by inHarmony

Headphones · Cables · Eye Masks · Eye Pillows · Bags & Cases

inHarmony designs and manufactures these items ourselves. That means there is no third-party warranty to chase and no other company to call — you come directly to us, and we take care of it.

2 Years — Headphones & Cables

Covered for 2 years from the original purchase date against manufacturer defects.

  • Covered: driver failure, loss of audio in one or both sides, internal wiring failure, defective connectors or jacks, and conductor failure within a cable under normal use.

  • Not covered: ear pads and ear tips, which are consumable; cosmetic wear; and damage from pulling, yanking, sharp bending, pinching, or rolling equipment over a cable.

  • Replacement is the normal path. For a covered defect we ship you a replacement rather than repairing the original. We may ask for photos or a short video first.

2 Years — Bags & Cases

Carrying bags and cases for our technology are covered for 2 years from the original purchase date against manufacturer defects.

  • Covered: seam separation, defective stitching, failed zipper hardware, and handle or strap attachment failure under normal use.

  • Not covered: abrasion, scuffs, stains, fading, or wear; damage from carrying contents the bag was not designed for; and damage from overloading.

60 Days — Eye Masks & Eye Pillows

Eye masks and eye pillows are soft goods and are warranted for 60 days against material defects — the same standard we apply to our fabric covers.

  • Covered: defects in the material or stitching as manufactured.

  • Returnable within 60 days if unopened. While still sealed in its original packaging, an eye mask or eye pillow may be returned for a refund within 60 days of purchase.

  • Not returnable once opened. See Consumables & Hygiene Items above. If an opened item proves defective, we replace it — contact us within 7 days of receiving it.

  • Not covered: stains, tears, snags, odor, settling or shifting of fill, and damage from laundering.

  • Replacements are available for purchase at any time.

Consumables & Hygiene Items

Not Returnable Once Opened

Some of the items we make come into direct contact with your breath, your eyes, your ears, or your skin. Once one of those items has been opened, it cannot be returned to inventory or passed to another person. This is not about the cost of the item. It is about what it would mean for the next customer to receive it. We hold to this without exception, and we hope you would want us to.

Final Sale Once Opened

The following are not returnable once opened or removed from their sealed packaging:

  • Nasal cannulas, breathing tubes, and inhalation attachments

  • Mouthpieces and any accessory that makes contact with the mouth or nose

  • Eye masks and eye pillows

  • Ear tips, ear pads, and any in-ear accessory

  • Filters, humidifier bottles, hydrogen cells, and membranes

  • Any additional attachment supplied for use with the hydrogen inhalation machine

This applies whether the item was purchased on its own or arrived as part of a system.

What You Still Have

Final sale once opened does not mean you are on your own. Every one of these paths remains open to you:

  • Sealed and unopened items are returnable within the normal return window described in our Return Policy.

  • Defective or incorrect on arrival: if an item reaches you defective, damaged, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days and we will replace it at no cost to you.

  • Warranty coverage still applies where the item carries it. A defective part is replaced, not refunded — which for you is the same outcome, reached a different way.

  • Replacements are available for purchase at any time. For the hydrogen machine in particular, we recommend keeping spare cannulas on hand.

If you are returning a full system and an included hygiene item has already been opened, please keep it. We do not ask for it back, and we do not deduct it from your refund.

inHarmony Zero Gravity

Warranty Coverage

The inHarmony Zero Gravity is a premium, large-format vibroacoustic system. Its warranty reflects both the craftsmanship of the unit and the specialized logistics its size requires.

Zero G Coverage

  • Amplifier and transducers: covered for the lifetime of the original purchaser against manufacturer defects, on the same terms as our other vibroacoustic systems.

  • Frame, platform, and mechanical components: covered for 2 years against defects in materials and workmanship.

  • Control arms, control systems, and integrated electronics: designed and manufactured by inHarmony, and covered by us for 2 years against defects in materials and workmanship.

  • Upholstery and covers: covered for 60 days against material defects only.

Zero G Warranty Service

Because moving a Zero Gravity requires freight and a pallet, we work especially hard to resolve issues without shipping the unit. Our approach:

  • Remote diagnosis first, always. Our Technical Support team will troubleshoot thoroughly by phone, email, and video before any shipment is considered.

  • Field replacement wherever possible. Most Zero Gravity amplifier and transducer issues can be resolved with a part shipped to you and a guided installation. inHarmony covers the cost of shipping covered replacement parts.

  • Facility repair only when necessary. If the unit must return to a facility, the customer is responsible for all freight, palletizing, and handling costs in both directions unless inHarmony agrees otherwise in writing. All costs are quoted and approved in advance.

  • White Glove handling, if required for a warranty shipment, is the customer’s responsibility and will be included in your written estimate.

  • Original packaging matters. We strongly recommend retaining the original pallet, box, and straps. Damage caused by improper packing is not covered.

What Is Not Covered — Zero Gravity

  • Improper use, misuse, or failure to follow the user guide

  • Cosmetic damage including surface scratches, rips, dents, or finish wear that does not affect function

  • Damage caused during customer unpacking, assembly, installation, or relocation

  • Damage caused by improper packing for an authorized return or repair shipment

  • Damage from liquid exposure, power surge, or pets

  • Repairs or modifications by anyone other than an inHarmony-authorized technician

  • Any product without valid proof of purchase

Refurbished & Used Products

inHarmony stands behind its refurbished products. Every refurbished unit is inspected, tested, and prepared to meet our quality standards before it reaches you. Refurbished products are final sale and are not eligible for return, but they are backed by a 90-day limited warranty.

Refurbished Coverage

  • Coverage period: 90 days from the date of purchase.

  • What is covered: functional defects — components that fail under normal use during the 90-day window, including the amplifier and transducers.

  • Lifetime coverage does not apply. Lifetime Limited coverage on amplifiers and transducers is available only to the original purchaser of a new inHarmony product and does not extend to refurbished, used, or out-of-box units.

  • What is not covered: cosmetic wear, pre-existing conditions disclosed at the time of sale, accessories, or damage resulting from misuse.

  • Shipping: freight and shipping charges for warranty service are the customer’s responsibility and will be quoted in advance.

To make a claim on a refurbished product, follow the same process described in the “How Warranty Service Works” section above.
