This is the in harmony podcast Real conversations with the people living and working with our technology how it's changing their days their families their practices communities hosted by our co-founder Craig Goldberg We are back again And I got a treat for you today because this is one of my dear friends and brothers We met through this technology. We've been working together for Six years seven years eight years. I don't even know we're gonna find out and we're gonna talk to that and Naom is the spiritual bodybuilder.

He is an author. He's written books on the body I've said this before and I'll say it again now that we're recording I don't know anybody that knows the human body better than Naom. He is a master bodyworker He is my favorite if I'm within a hundred miles of Naom because he moves around quite a bit I make the drive to go get bodywork.

It's like that and now he happens to live like I don't even know less than a mile away or a mile and a half two miles away and I'm Excited to have him back here Nam welcome. Welcome to the show the podcast whatever welcome. Welcome Craig.

Thank you so much, man I'm super stoked to be here and it's an honor to be here with you as well. I really appreciate that So I have a handful of questions. We keep these short and sweet 15-20 minutes Take me back to what was happening in your life or your practice right before you brought in harmony into your practice What were you looking for? I remember when we met where we met we could tell that story and and even a progression of that But but what was going on before you met me that night and we did bodywork of that day, whatever it was Yeah, man So I was I was deep into running my my bodywork Business in Las Vegas at the time at a lot of really powerful clients and you know, I was all I'm always looking for a way to enhance to you know to increase the efficacy of my work and I'll tell you what when I'm when I met you, you know, we you meant we were doing some other work together, but When I when you introduced me to that sound lounge such a simple concept and such a very like It almost seems very basic But it is such it was such a powerful tool that I had immediately needed one and when I combine that With my bodywork it got my brain firing about what are the possibilities of how we can use this and when I started? Using it with my clients.

I could not go without it at that point. I was having such profound miraculous even effects with my clientele Because because of the of the of the very fundamental biohack that it's it Gets into the nervous system and it relaxed the nervous system about 9100% faster than without it and being able to do that There's so many people out there that have you know sympathetic dominant, you know nervous systems and especially in the fitness community where I kind of you know, that's my home base and I Seen people being able to relax their body and then working with it and enhancing even more It's I get We're gonna go into some specific details, but I'll tell you what in harmony vibroacoustic sound lounge Changed my life and changed my practice It changed my life in a way because ever since I got back to my rack. I've struggled with insomnia and And when I got the sound lounge I have tried, you know I was on ambien for like eight years and I have tried every sleep assistance on the planet and there were times where I would just lay on the sound lounge throw on some binaural beats and It would help me at least get my brain back in the deep sleep mode even if I was like I would have these nights where I I felt like I couldn't shut my mind off But it would still get me into like this meditative state and I have a I have a difficult time meditating I'm a very action oriented guy, right? So so Being able to utilize that to get my mind still by focusing on my body and focusing my all my intention on on the vibration Was a game-changer for me in that sense where it really helped me to get my sleep back, especially going through extremely Extremely intense and stressful, you know periods of my life That that thing got me through so many things more than anything else and I've done every biohack out there Yeah, you speak on it Not to mention competing and winning medals at body.

Yeah You know, we're both wearing one gold and red shirt I think it's the same size shirt, but you can see filling out that shirt better I actually actually probably a much bigger size than the one that I'm wearing But you can see how it may have fills it out versus I do Look, you do travel everywhere. You have our practitioner mattress our practitioner pad. You've had it for a very long time You have fully integrated music musics I think music is always part of massage therapy and body work But but having it come through the bed you also travel with a very large speaker that has a sub response as well You've networked them all together What's interesting is that? I've been getting body work for Since we've known each other five six years and like I said literally driving to you anytime I can and anytime I'm near you as you travel and the first time Dom ever got body work on our creation was in Phoenix last year for the inc 5,000 and and you happen to have been in Phoenix and I was in Phoenix and like we coordinate Hey, I'm going to Phoenix.

Where are you? You're like, oh, I'm in Phoenix I was like great You want to come to body work and obviously if you're doing body work for me I'm gonna do a body work for for for Dom and he had that and you came in with this huge speaker you networked them all together and This this experience that you create which is an hour and a half two hours of body work you start and you finish when when The work is done. You get every ligament every muscle Working and and really full adaptation into a playlist some in harmony music meditation some stuff from Spotify It's very impressive your process. So walk me through What a session looks like Do you do sessions? I don't even know if you offer sessions without body work and massage therapy But just walk me through what that looks like and and talk a little bit about the the experience itself So I I do I have a highly intuitive process, but over time I I put together these Playlists also for other medicine work that I do and it's become sort of like this.

I Kind of equate to it to like walking out to you know, like a WWE fight, but in a healing way Right, like I have my intro song that gets me, you know tuned in and I get in this trance like state and then I just let the music guide me and The more I do it though I'm the deeper I tune in the body and the body just tells me what to do really and as I loosen the body You know, like I I like to It's an immersive experience for me. I like to get into it with the client that I'm working with so When they need to breathe deep, you know, like I'll breathe in with them and when they need to move I can I Kind of go along in concert with the process and it becomes like a choreographed dance of almost right and and then being able to do that in opening up these the the deeper parts of the joints and identifying the sticky parts of the fascia you know the body starts to speak to me and it's really a It really just kind of comes alive in the process man That's the the frequency and vibration blast through my body as well. And then I know you start singing sometimes, you know, like I get So look it's a cathartic experience and I mean that and look this is no I'm not trying to rain on on Kate Holloman who did a podcast and she's using our tech for eight years talented bodyworker who I love when she works on me Your experience is a much different experience because of the energy work that you're doing because of the intuitiveness that you have because of the music and the immersiveness of that music and and I have had medicine like like results and and And purges when I'm on your table at one point.

I remember my old place This is going back three because I've been here three years in the young place two years So this was at least five and a half years ago, and I remember asking for a cup and like so that I can spit Because I just had this like rush of a purge that was coming I was like man I need a I need a cup and we put it underneath the face cradle so that I could so that I could literally release the Energy that was coming the last time you do body work on me. What a week and a half ago You actually stopped in the middle. You're like, hey, man, can you light some sage? There's just we just got to clear the energy and we got to clear this out and sure enough It was coming through me and through you and and I felt that it was palpable It's just a really powerful process and what I absolutely love is that sound and vibration is at the core of that and and and really a lot of your feedback has helped us to make better music to make better Additions to the tech I put you on the practitioner to for the first time and it had built-in speakers And you still wanted your extra speakers in addition to it.

You're like now this is great. I need more These are good high fidelity. It's clear, but I want more and you know again You're helping us to push the envelope and continue to innovate in ways that that we can see how our technology is having impact And I have my impact through you Using our technology in the field and working with it.

It's just a really powerful partnership and friendship Was was was there a moment where you thought? Okay, this is different. Like I know you're not comparing Vibro acoustic therapy to another form or modality. Oh, well, you do have that hand massager, right? I mean you've been using vibration as part of what you do, which was also very unique to you Your original one was really loud and you got this new one fancy.

It's quiet And it's USB rechargeable and anyhow, so was there a moment where you thought? Okay, this is different. This vibration is different. I Mean almost immediately.

Yeah You know, I've always been really sensitive to frequency and vibration And what I learned like I I really want to understand what was going on the body This effect was happening and what I realized, you know, I do a very intense work as as you know I like to get in there and like pull stuff out but is painful at times This is not your average Swedish relaxing massage. No by any account No, I would hence why we call it body work, right? Yeah, because you're working with the process but but what happens is because between the vibro acoustics and then the movement of the body and the breathing the whole process integrated together We're able to push the central nervous system into a balanced state so quickly that it creates a somatic somato Ser somato emotional release. Yeah, and that's somato emotional release.

Everyone can have one right and typically During a regular type of massage, right? It can't happen because you're not you're not relaxing the body enough So this is a hack that literally speeds up the process I'd say even up to five to ten fold Right, and then and then with that release now the nervous system is semi permanently Transformed which is why the work is so powerful and at the same time doing that. We're also aligning all the energetic centers as well I'll tell you so when back when you were living here I was getting body work with you once a week Yeah, and and I'm always blown away at the level of pain that I'm in as names doing body I work this first of all, I log a lot of hours at this desk. We talked about it all the time I'm not working out nearly as much as I'd like to I'm not stretching nearly as much as I'd like to and that all falls on me and my own self-care routine and it's usually quite painful when name does come around because it's once or twice a year that I see him and Even though I'm getting regular body work and adjustments.

I'm still not doing enough and it's just You just grin and bear it and you breathe and you release and that's that But there was a time where I was getting body work from you once a week It was also going back to when I was at my that apartment because I was last time you were living in Vegas Yeah, and I remember two or three weeks in four weeks in I didn't feel any pain And and I literally said to you like are you going easy on me? Like and you're like no man, this is you're just body is just loose. You're you're stretched You're you're doing what you're supposed to be doing and and it was largely because of the body work They were doing every week but it was really a gift for me to be able to feel that and a perspective shift for me to understand that if I don't sit in this chair If I if I do move around if I do get out and run if I do stretch and work with my mace And do the things that I like to do And I get regular body work. My body doesn't hurt when name is literally like the between his thumb And the bone is just all the fascia the muscle the skin just all of it is just oh It's it hurts just thinking about it You got to keep that fascia hydrated man That's really what it comes down to when we have when we don't move enough Right the fascia gets stiff and and that's that's collectively.

That's everybody I mean like unless you unless like you said you're getting this done on a consistent basis And then you're moving your body outside of that as well, you know, but it's it's high maintenance, man We're all high maintenance creatures totally, right? Well, and we're not look our day-to-day practice for most of us because you got plenty of people that are working outside That are working with their hands that are bending and getting up and doing all these things The biggest workout I get outside of 15 minutes a day doing push-ups sit-ups pull-ups squats That sort of thing is chasing my daughter around picking her up throwing her around and which is certainly enough of a workout Throwing her on the couch playing with her flipping around this morning She was doing back flips off my shoulders onto the couch like what? She's like daddy. Are you tired yet? I want to do it again I'm like, let's go, you know, but it's a workout for me and I look forward to it Who else in your world has has ended up on the technology obviously got clients But family somebody who was skeptical any stories around around that and other people that you've shared this technology with oh, yeah Let's see One of the most profound Stories that I have is with one of my clients. His name is Brett Gates.

He's the founder and Founder and CEO of ion the weighted vest awesome, and I worked with him a year and a half ago He was getting a total knee replacement a total right knee replacement And first thing I told him because he was he was still like on the extreme level of us He had had a knee surgery 25 years prior that you know was no good anymore for a long time There's walk with a limp. He couldn't really walk I got him on the sound lounge and I did like a 20-minute, you know assessment on him And I was like brother you need one of these So he ordered one immediately and then after that he went ahead and he decided he's gonna get surgery on his knee Right, I totally so he's gonna have a titanium knee put in so, of course, there's some extensive recovery time for that So so with his recovery, he kept me around and I work with him for I was basically look I'm gonna work with you until this is healed, right? So Sound lounge was a fundamental part of the practice red light therapy as well. We did the you know red light on top and You know As well as peptides, but we were doing you know bodywork sessions about two three times a week We had to be very very gentle and careful right at first, but as I know how to do that Yeah Well, you do in the right circumstances.

Absolutely, man Yeah, and we were able to have him fully recovered from a total knee replacement in six weeks Mind you he's also 64 years old at the time That's amazing. Right like absolutely incredible. Look, it's I think it's It's I think that's because of a lot of different things right red light therapy peptides.

Certainly vibro acoustic therapy relaxing the nervous system When your body is in fight-or-flight it is in by definition survival mode it is in definition It's in distress and duress when it's in parasympathetic. It's in maintenance mode and The more time you can spend look being a CEO of a company. I'm familiar with a on familiar what they're doing But growing like crazy.

I know what's going on intimately in their business like that's that's awesome and that's a lot of stress on a founder and an owner and And we feel that each and every day so even while you're trying to take care of yourself and recover There's a part of you that wants to go go go and get back in there and get back in the fight And even wrestling with that can can trigger that sympathetic nervous system response. So I'm grateful that he has one I'm certainly grateful for that story. And the next time you do body work on me, you can go easy on me now now I Don't expect when when we get to that point for sure Yeah, no new replacements for me cool another another really really powerful story that was actually fairly recent another CEO type owns a big big peptide manufacturing company and he came to me He has been his blood pressure has been roughly 240 over one 160 for 14 years and he'd been to every he's been every doctor every specialist Fluent flown around the world to try to find ways cardiologists and all the specialists and basically all these specialists just here's another Medication there's nothing.

I don't know what to do here. So When he came to me, of course, you know, I have very Unorthodox approach so I laid him on the sound lounge taught him to breathe taught him to relax In a very serene environment and I gave him a little bit of hot pay to but we were able to get his blood pressure down to 150 over 100 which was the lowest it's been in 10 years and that was from two and a half hours in the sound outstanding outstanding I Mean for something so simple yet yet This man had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars going to all these specialists and all these doctors and getting all those medications and all These tests nothing worked what what what he came to realize and what I helped him understand Is that he's actually quite an empathic natured being and he doesn't know how to process his own emotions So when he finally stopped thinking for a few minutes Which the frequency and vibration of the sound lounge? essentially allowed him to do and I all I had to do is shift his mind into focusing on his breath and Let the vibration do the rest So, you know the Tesla that said, you know, the future of medicine is going to be based in frequency of vibration Is literally what you're doing this this is the future of medicine I Look, obviously, I think you nailed it and look my dad's been on the sound lounge now since he moved here a year ago He's on it just about every day at least five days a week and his blood pressure is finally stable Again right like it's it's the maintenance things that we do or it's the extended acute things that we need to do Two and a half hours on the sound lounge sounds blissful people ask all the time like what's the longest or how long can I be? Or can I overdo it the answer is you can stand in as long as you want. You can't overdo it and I've logged four five six.

I've logged eight hours. I've slept on it overnight Yeah, there's there's so much goodness that comes from those vibrations most time. I'll turn the vibration a little lower versus being so intense is when I'm doing a regular session, but yeah, unbelievable if if somebody was Thinking about getting an in-harmony product if they were say six months before in your you know Before you found us seven years ago six years ago But if someone were in years in in that same seat six months ago, we're sitting here.

What would you tell them? What would the message be? Are you ready to feel? Feel what you need to feel and slow down like we all live in such a fast-paced world, right and This is the one device that really allows you or teaches you it taught me how to slow down Hmm, and I feel like there's no better. There's no bad device There's no bad technique and I also like to add in it added in addition to that, too I've had my practitioner now for I actually think we know each other for about ten years and I'm on time I believe I bought I bought it before my daughter was born. So I About nine nine years.

I've had my practitioner and it has is is not gone bad on me Like I've had a replaced like the the amplifier and there's some wires But as far as the sound lounge it has stayed and it is it's still good. I still have it I still use it all the time and I saw it and I Travel with it and you know, I move it around telling you just sitting there, right? So it's a very resilient device as well Indeed. I appreciate that and I'm so grateful.

I appreciate you and thank you for your time. Thank you for your energy Thank you for all you do for our brand and our company and all you do for Humanity and the world very talented healer. Mr. Name Justin Vizakas.
