Biohacking Stress
(43 min) Craig Goldberg joins Sergio Chavez to explore how sound and vibration can support stress reduction, recovery, and overall wellbeing. Together, they discuss the science behind vibroacoustic therapy, the connection between music and brain states, and why nervous system regulation may be one of the most overlooked foundations of optimal health. From practical wellness habits to the role frequency and vibration play in helping the body shift out of chronic stress, this conversation offers an accessible look at the intersection of biohacking, sound, and human performance.
Key takeaways
inHarmony’s core proposition is simple: make relaxation easier to access through sound and vibration.
Craig repeatedly describes the business as helping people spend more time calm and relaxed and less time stressed and anxious. The product experience combines music, tactile vibration and purpose-built furniture to create a more immersive form of relaxation.
The experience is intentionally passive and easy to understand.
One of the strongest themes is that users do not need to “perform” relaxation perfectly. They can sit or lie down, listen, feel the vibration and let the experience do much of the work. That simplicity is positioned as a key advantage for people who struggle with traditional meditation or quieting a busy mind.
Craig sees relaxation as the foundation of a broader wellness routine.
The conversation touches on diet, clean water, sunlight, grounding, exercise, human connection and other “biohacking” practices, but Craig keeps returning to relaxation as the base layer. His view is that wellness technologies should help people reconnect with more natural patterns of living rather than simply add more complexity.
inHarmony’s origin story is rooted in Craig personally experiencing the product before building the business around it.
Craig explains that his first Sound Lounge session in 2016 made him realize how stressed he had been. That experience became the catalyst for his involvement with the company and shaped the brand’s emphasis on something that is difficult to fully understand until it is actually felt.
The company is positioning for growth through research, education and wider accessibility.
Craig discusses plans for ongoing studies, a growing focus on scientific research, expansion of marketing and AI capabilities, and efforts to lower prices as manufacturing volume increases. He also sees increasing consumer interest in taking a more active role in personal wellness as a tailwind for inHarmony.

Music is medicine, music moves you. And specific frequencies presented to the body in a specific way helps to calm and relax the nervous system, take you out of fight or flight and into calm and relax just by listening to music and sitting down, closing your eyes and doing so. Unfortunately, if we're not taking time to slow down, we're not gonna be as powerful or as potent as we need to be when we really call on the energy.
Biohacking for me is really about various technologies that help us get back in line with the way that we have evolved, the way the human body has evolved. Grounding, sunlight, clean water, clean diet, connection with other people, skin-on-skin contact. These are the most important things to me every single day.
This is the Vegas Voices podcast. And my guest today is Craig Goldberg, an innovator who explores the intersection of technology, mindfulness, and the human spirit. In a world overflowing with noise and distraction, Craig dives into the profound power of sound and vibration to foster deep relaxation and elevate our wellness.
Our conversation uncovers the science behind his work and the deeper connections that tie us to one another. I hope you find it enlightening and inspiring. This is Vegas Voices, and now here is Craig Goldberg.
It's amazing to be here with my friend, Craig Goldberg. He is the founder of an amazing company called InHarmony Interactive, for which we do a lot of stuff. My company does ads for him.
So we have a very direct connection with the man. So the point of this podcast is bringing voice to those builders, entrepreneurs, people that are bringing our city up, right? And a lot of them are just working in the trenches. Right now, we're in your trenches.
How many trenches? Right, so we got to bring them out and give them a voice. And that's the whole point of this podcast. This is the third episode, and I love it.
The experiment has been amazing so far because I get to go to where you guys are, to where you guys operate, where you guys create your magic. Yeah. Cool, cool.
So Craig, first thing, let's just go directly into talking about your company, because that's your latest iteration, right? So for those that are not familiar with InHarmony Interactive, can you tell us what is InHarmony Interactive, and what is the novel approach that you guys take to health and wellness? Well, first of all, thank you for having me here. It's an honor to be number three, one, two, 10, 20, it doesn't matter. I'm honored to be here and to create with you and to share a little bit about what's happening here in Las Vegas, because I absolutely love this town.
And you know as well as I do, there's a ton of incredible entrepreneurs here that are doing wonderful things. So I'm honored to be a part of that group. And to share a little bit about what we're doing here, we're sitting here in my home studio, and behind us is an InHarmony Sound Lounge too.
We're sitting on the InHarmony meditation cushion. We also have our massage table and practitioner too, our app, our music meditations. Everything that InHarmony does is in an effort to help bring you in harmony with the world around you.
So we teach people how to relax using sound and vibration. We teach people how to spend more time calm and relaxed, less time stressed and anxious. And we do this through what we call relaxation furniture or meditation furniture.
We do that through education and teaching people about the power of the mind, mindfulness, what actually happens when we close our eyes to sit down and meditate, why it's so restorative, rejuvenative, and so important as a practice. And then as biohacking and wellness, obviously the opportunity there is to really understand how the body operates. I'm a really logical thinker.
My wife will tell you, I need to understand how things work. I wanna, what's the mechanism of action? Like, what is it? And biology in seventh grade, eighth grade, ninth grade, whatever it was, just didn't go deep enough for me. I really wanna understand the metabolic processes that makes the human body perform.
And then what are the levers that we can move to optimize the way the human body performs? And the most foundational, in my opinion, which is why I pour my heart and soul in harmony over the last eight years, the most important aspect is being in fight or flight, being stressed and anxious, being in that sympathetic nervous system response. What can we do to bring the body back into maintenance mode, back into calm and relaxed, back into that parasympathetic nervous system response so that the body can perform and behave the way that it was so abundantly and beautifully designed to perform? So many of us are walking around in a stressed and anxious nervous system response all day long. And when you're stressed and anxious, when you're in fight or flight, when you're in survival mode, just using those terms reprioritizes what your body is going to be focused on.
It's focused on survival. It's not focused on maintenance. And that's how we get into a lot of these chronic issues and ailments that we deal with day in and day out.
The key factor, the underlying concern that we need to address is stress and anxiety. So that's what In Harmony focuses on. It helps people relax using sound and vibration.
It feels fantastic. And we're sitting in my home studio, and I'm grateful to have it. So to simplify things, like these pieces of furniture do everything that you just said.
That's right. And not only that, but you don't need to think about it. It's not a conscious effort that you need to put forth.
So we're sitting on the In Harmony meditation cushion. Built in here are two surround sound speakers, an amplifier, and what we call a tactile transducer, which I usually have sitting on this table, and I don't right now. But a tactile transducer basically creates vibration.
So you're basically sitting down listening to music, which hopefully everybody watching is doing on a regular basis. Music is medicine. Music moves you.
And specific frequencies presented to the body in a specific way helps to calm and relax the nervous system, take you out of fight or flight and into calm and relax, just by listening to music and sitting down, closing your eyes and losing yourself in that music. What I find amazing about everything that you're saying is that you're creating a worldwide mission with something so simplistic. I'm not making it simplistic.
We're bringing it from the most complex to the most simplistic. Yeah, look. But there's a lot of stuff in between, right? So look, to your point, I wish our technology was a little bit more complex than it actually is.
The reality is you're laying on a bed and you're listening to music, something we've been doing since I was a kid, listening to music in my little Walkman. And I was just talking to somebody about a Discman. One of our clients actually asked if she can get our music on a CD or a DVD, and I was, it's all in her app.
I'm sorry, I don't know how to tell you this, but it's a legacy delivery system, right? Lust of the now. Yeah, I mean, look, I remember I was there. But at the end of the day, music is medicine.
Whether you like hardcore or rock and roll or hip hop or house music or Latin music, like whatever it is that moves you, your music moves you. And at the end of the day, we have created a delivery system for sound and frequency to every cell in your body. It's like being front row at a concert.
Now, the other piece to it, and by the way, you can listen to anything you want on our hardware. Laying on the sound lounge and listening to your favorite band, your favorite performer, your favorite artist, sounds and feels like you're front row at their concert. I mean, it's absolutely fantastic.
There's built-in high-fidelity speakers in the sound lounge. You can pair that with our headphones. It's really a phenomenal experience, as you know.
And when you shift gears from your favorite artists to in-harmony music meditations, that's where the magic really starts to begin and starts to unfold. You're hearing the same thing you're feeling. And this is where things get a little bit more complex when you start to break down the science of what's actually happening when you're sitting on a deck.
At the end of the day, we create high-quality, beautiful furniture that plays music and vibrations. As we get lower and deeper into what we do, there's a harmonization that happens between what you're hearing and what you're feeling. When you're listening to the same frequencies that you're feeling, that are coming up through the cushion, up through the sound lounge, and then you close your eyes and you begin to harmonize what you're hearing and what you're feeling, the brain, this has a trigger point in the brain that sets in those chemical cascades associated with being in parasympathetic or calm and relaxed.
It's something that happens automatically. It's music that sounds very pleasant and very calming and very soothing. It's something that I listen to all day long through my home stereo system as well, just as there's something in the background so that the brain and the mind can have something to focus on.
We say say goodbye to a distracted mind, say hello to a relaxed existence, because the mind and the nervous system is constantly looking for threats and it can be subdued very easily. It can be distracted very easily using sound and music. And when you do that, you have this unbelievable amount of focus, drive, and high performance or high output that begins to come over you.
It's a really magical thing, and you're right, it's something so simple as music. And it's something that you can only be able to tell what it is when you experiment it. Yeah, I mean, that's the trickiest part about what we do, right? So I've spent the better part of the last eight years.
I think I'm pretty articulate with my words. I'm certainly working on it every single day. The reality is the experience is so personalized because you know what's going on in your head.
You know the voices that you hear, the negative self-talk, the positive affirmations, whatever it is that's happening in your head. That's something that is exceptionally personal to you and every single person that's listening. And until you feel it for yourself and those voices calm and quiet and move to the background, and in the forefront is this beautiful harmonization of what you're hearing and what you're feeling, and your body is tingling, and you feel like you're floating, and your body begins to pulse with the music.
It's a very magical and exceptionally unique first-person experience that I hope everybody has a chance to experience. It is, it is. I recommend it to everybody.
I've done it myself. And every time I go, it feels like I melt out of existence. That's why I have defined it as I told you, right? Or like the exteriorization process, right? Like an astral going out of your body.
It's very common to happen. We're both very familiar with that, even though you're super scientifical. Now that I know, I didn't know that other side, because you have both sides of the spiritual.
Look, I really want to understand what happened. Like, look, so I have a keynote talk that I give, and it's called The Science of Mindfulness. It's one thing to tell somebody to sit down and meditate, and this is gonna be good for you, and this is really something that's gonna be healthy for you.
For me, I want to know why. Why is it so healthy? Why is it so restorative? What's happening in the brain? What's happening in the body? What is it about these different brainwave states that are so important? And here's my summary of it. Sleep and meditation is nothing more than a conscious perception of a slower brainwave state.
Say this again. Meditation and sleep is nothing more than a conscious perception of a slower brainwave state. Your mind doesn't sleep.
Your brain doesn't sleep. Your brain is still doing things. As we're moving in and out of these different brainwave states, as we're falling asleep, staying asleep, and moving back up to awake, we move in and out of these different sleep patterns in 90-minute sleep cycles over the course of the night.
We're pitting together four, five, six, seven, eight, depending on your age and depending on what's happening, of these sleep cycles in a row. Meditation is like a nap. If we're doing it for 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 50 minutes, you're moving your brain and you're training your brain to move into a slower brainwave state.
Once the brain is in that slower brainwave state, it immediately begins to do the things that it needs to do. It deals with apoptosis, which is to kill off dead cells. It begins to clean off the desk in the brain and organize your thoughts and log memories and regurgitate information from the day.
We need this downtime. And your downtime is as important as your uptime. And so many of us are go, go, go, overstimulating over the course of the day with coffee and chocolate and other stimulants that we use so that we could wake up in the morning and get going.
Unfortunately, if we're not taking time to slow down, rest, recharge, rejuvenate, then we're not gonna be as powerful or as potent as we need to be when we really need to call on the energy that we need like this, which is, what, it's like 3.55 in the afternoon. And we're still going strong. I've been sitting on my desk since 8 a.m. Let's go.
Awesome. Miller, you're giving Dr. Joe Dispenza a run for his money. He's amazing.
I love Dr. Joe, yeah. No disrespect to him, but it's all an honor. Man, we need some of his studies done on the technology, right, like putting people on the brain thingy, on the brain scanners and all that.
That should go. That would be amazing. So InHarmony is about to launch a ton of science and research.
We brought on a chief science officer. And we are in the process of actually launching. It's December as we're recording this.
So unfortunately, we're not gonna launch anything before the holidays by design, even though it's all ready. But come the new year, we're actually gonna launch four ongoing studies. So you can keep an eye out.
Count me in. I'll be your guinea pig. I was in Dr. Joe's studies and they took all the blood out of me and all that.
So very cool. So what inspired the creation of InHarmony, man? I'm originally from New York. I was stressed and anxious and I had no idea how stressed and how anxious I actually was.
I would not be able to tell that from your latest personality iteration and character you're bringing. So look, I worked in New York City hospitality for a decade. I was a bartender.
I managed and ran nightclubs and I basically worked and partied from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. seven days a week. I didn't realize in drinking, consuming alcohol seven days a week exactly what I was covering up and exactly, look, here's the reality. Right outside that door is a culture and a society that we've co-created and it's riddled with more to do in a day than I have time to do it.
I have this business which is exploding and I'm super grateful for that. I have a four and a half year old daughter, just got a new puppy, have an amazing wife. I have a beautiful family.
I have friends that are all local here in Las Vegas. There's a lot of demands on my time. When everything is going right, there's more to do than I have time to do it and I'm constantly reprioritizing what's gonna get done today, what's gonna be pushed to tomorrow, how things move up the priority list and down the priority list.
I'm sure very much everybody's kind of the same way. They have these projects sitting all over their house that's like, not today, tomorrow. This is more important.
Okay, cool, Saturday afternoon. I can get to some of those honey do lists and get to some of those items. So the reality is I didn't realize how stressed and anxious I was until I truly had a chance to relax.
It's pretty crazy. When did that happen? Eight years ago. So eight years ago, I got a phone call from my now business partner, Tom, who I had a relationship with and I was friends with and he said, hey, I want you to come down to my office and check something out.
He created the original InHarmony Sound Lounge. This is November of 2016 and I laid down on the sound lounge, put on the headphones, pushed play on a music meditation and I was whisked out of my body, whisked away and taken to a place that was very familiar to me because of the acoustic instruments, the bells, the chimes, the didgeridoo and these acoustic instruments, which I have come to love, that creates sound and frequency. What Don didn't realize is that just three months prior to this meeting, I was laying in the middle of my living room with my arms spread out, with my center channel in between my legs, my front right, front left, rear right, rear left, cranking a GOM recording that I had purchased, trying to get the same effect as the acoustic instruments from my stereo system.
So what was really wonderful about this entire experience and how much I love the universe is that I was literally trying to create a device just like this. Now, I didn't know about tactile transducers and I didn't know about vibroacoustic therapy and I didn't have a lot of the answers, but I kind of did this little experiment where I was trying to create this on my own and Don calls me and says, hey, you gotta come down and check this out. Then my friend Scott, who introduced me and Don a few years prior, calls me and says, hey, you need to get down to Don's office and check out this thing that he's got.
So I went down and I had my first sound lounge experience and the rest is kind of history. I was blown away at the experience. I was wowed by the fact that I could lay down in my living room or my office.
I can push play on a music meditation and I can be, it kind of feels like your soul and your body is being wrung out. Like just all the stress and anxiety is just wrung out of the body and you're just left this relaxed, beautiful being that can now go out and charge and take care of. So in a way, you made your master message.
Pretty much. It's amazing. Right, look.
But it wasn't until I had that sound lounge session. You didn't know what you didn't know. That I realized just how stressed and anxious I actually was.
Until you feel that bliss of relaxation, you begin to melt into the sound lounge. You start to realize just how tense your body is and it comes over you in waves over a 22 minute music meditation session. You just drift deeper and deeper and deeper.
You feel yourself relaxing more and more and more as you just melt into the sound. I still remember the first time that I experimented the sound lounge and as we both clung through the journey, I had an autoimmune disease at the time and we had some. An agorastasis.
Yeah. That was past tense, thank God. So, and we could measure it, like my brain was completely off the charts and then when we went back in, everything was tuned and measured by this device that we had at the time that could measure all sorts of brainwaves, heart rate, heart rate.
Resultability. Yes. Neural, right here.
All that stuff. Yeah. So, I still remember that and it was completely normal.
That's a Western neural. This is the neural check by Brain Tap, yeah. Yeah, I remember that.
That was something. It's measurable, it's tangible. You can feel it and then you can see it and you know, I have not had, I used my meditation cushion almost every day.
I like it a lot because one thing you didn't tell, it's like, it forces you, for some reason, it forces you to be in a good posture without effort. Well, not for some reason. But it's the way.
I got a design patent. I mean, there's good reason for it. But you didn't even tell us about it before.
Well, so yeah, look. We did get a design patent for its design. Your feet are in the foot well, your thighs are being supported, your ankles are below your knees and there's an inflection point in the back that actually rolls up, rolling the pelvic bone forward, allowing you to arch your back and sit up straight.
So it keeps you in this ergonomic position where, I mean, I don't know how long we've been talking now, 20 minutes or so, but I would never be able to sit cross-legged for this long on the floor. You don't even feel it. No.
You don't even feel it. And now this comfortable, relaxing posture where you're actually sitting upright and erect and you feel fully supported. My legs are being supported.
It's a very comfortable experience. It's amazing. You give me that, I'll buy the thing just for that, but not even the music, right? But then it's got all this technology built into it.
It's pretty powerful. And to another thing, until you experiment and see it, I mean, we're showing it right now. You know, I'm super comfy.
We're both like super straight and comfy. It's not like making an effort. It's just like comfy.
It's unreal. And I'm super grateful. I'm excited for, I get these text messages all the time from new InHarmony Meditation cushion owners in particular.
And there's kind of two parties that we serve. There's a group of people like myself that just couldn't meditate. Their mind, they were so encapsulated.
I was so encapsulated in my mind that I just couldn't quiet, I couldn't drift out of a beta brainwave into alpha, theta, delta, and open to gamma. I know obviously so much more now than I did then, but I was having a really hard time turning it off and allowing myself to go into those deeper meditative states. Same issue with sleep.
I would have a really hard time falling asleep because I was stuck in that to-do list, that beta brainwave. So that's one party that we serve because sound and vibration helps to move you out of that beta brainwave and down into alpha, theta, delta, and even up into gamma. It guides you there.
You're taken there. The second group that we work with is somebody maybe like yourself. I know you're new in the meditation.
I know you meditate regularly, but I get text messages from folks that buy our cushion or get gifted our cushion, more importantly, that have 20-minute-a-day, 20-year meditation practice. And the text messages I get from them is typically like, Craig, I had no idea how deep I could actually go. I had no idea where I needed to be led because sound and vibration, like a rut in a record, once that neural plasticity is expanded upon, once the neural pathways are opened like a needle in a record, you are just guided into the bottoms and the depth of that meditative experience.
Now, the tricky part about meditation is if I were sitting down talking to you about meditation, guiding you through a meditation, and you had your eyes closed and you were quietly focused, and from the outside, it looks like Sergio is in this deep meditative state. But inside, you're just like, this isn't working. Just thinking about all the things that I need to do.
This is, I'm, you know, I really love Craig. He's awesome. I'm just gonna sit here for the next 10, 15 minutes.
I'm not gonna move. I'm gonna breathe deeply and then this will be over and I'll be able to go outside, right? Like, I don't know what's going on in the internal narrative but the reality is once you turn on sound and vibration, that narrative begins to get quiet. You lose yourself in the music.
You drift deeper and deeper into it. And before you know it, you wake up 20 minutes later and it's like, whoa, whoa. The music stops, the meditation's over and you're like, cool, right? But even for somebody that has a 20 minute a day, 20 year practice, how do you know if you're at the depth of your meditative experience? The reality is you really don't.
But when you start to listen to sound and music and there are music meditations, when you already have that practice, you drop in fast and you go deep. And I love those text messages. It's kind of like, man, I had no idea how deep I could actually go.
Thank you for creating this product. I really appreciate it. I get these text messages every single day and it really pushes me forward.
Right, and it tells you you're doing the right thing. I get reminders from the universe every single day that I'm on the right path. That is just too awesome.
That's why I love talking to you. So is there any initiatives that the company, that InHarmony has for Las Vegas as a community, any involvement? So look, I try and be as involved as I possibly can. And at the same time, to your point earlier, we're recording this in December.
I just came off of a record-breaking November. I feel like I haven't seen anybody. I saw a member of Entrepreneur's Organization here in town.
I absolutely love supporting not just EO and EO Las Vegas, but EO abroad and internationally. But also all of the entrepreneurs, there's 70 plus members of our EO chapter and they all have their hands in different charities. They all have their hands in different events and different happenings around town.
And this past Saturday was our holiday party. I haven't been to an EO event in 60 days, in two months. And you know me.
I was at just about every single event. I was everywhere. I was moderator as part of my forum.
And I've pulled back from all of that. So I can really focus on the growth for InHarmony because we had a sprint from August to October, really through November. We've had this sprint where we've been creating as much as we possibly can and building as much as we possibly can.
And that's across the board, new ads, AI, a ton of different integrations that we're doing to establish our growth for 2025. So it's been a big focus over the last couple of months. So then you're involved.
You're very heavily involved in EO. For those that are listening to this, there's probably the majority of people here in Vegas don't know what EO is. What is EO for you and how has it helped the company? EO has been a tremendous asset for us.
So EO stands for Entrepreneurs Organization. There's 11,000 members worldwide. There's, I don't even know, 250 chapters, something like that.
I could be off on those numbers, but I know it's 11,000 members worldwide. Dominic Carnevale, my business partner, has been a member of EO for 10 years. He's been in San Diego and he's worked his way through the board and being a part of just about every aspect of EO.
I've personally been friends with entrepreneurs that are members of EO for 20 plus years, since 2004 when I first learned about it. EO is a place where we get leadership training, we have forum, we have social events, and obviously there's a give back element. This is something that has been unbelievably foundational to me personally, and so many people that I've introduced to it as well, because finally an entrepreneur has a place that they can go where there's a non-solicitation role.
So we're not there to solicit business from one another. So it's not a networking group where it's like BNI, where you want to exchange leads and that certainly happens, but we're not there to solicit one another. Buy my tech, use my tech, no, no, no.
It's really just a place where I can go to be an entrepreneur and talk to other entrepreneurs that have an interest in helping and supporting me on my journey through shared experiences. By telling me about their experiences, I can then learn and grow. And EO has been a tremendous, a tremendous asset for me and so many other entrepreneurs that I know, and even better that my business partner Dom is a member in San Diego and I'm a member in Las Vegas.
So it gives us this common ground, this operating system, if you will, to communicate with one another, to grow with one another, to build with one another. And then of course, to help so many other entrepreneurs where I can go and get that same help that I'm able to give. It's really a powerful network.
How much has it impacted InHarmony? Unbelievably so. When we started, we started actually as EOA and then three months later, we graduated into EO. To what's EOA? So EOA, you need to be doing $250,000 or more in revenue.
EO has a $1 million or more minimum, if you will. And you need to be a co-founder and a founder of the business, operating the business. So EO is a bunch of entrepreneurs that are doing more than a million dollars in revenue, which is a feat in and of itself.
And they're all operators. I think that's the part that's most important to me is that these aren't people that are employed by the business. These are owners, co-founders, creators that have taken a concept or an idea and brought it to life or seen an issue or a problem that needed a solution and they brought that solution to life.
And now they are scaling and operating that business and managing all of the things that have to do with scaling, growing and managing that business. And there are many. To your point earlier, which I don't think we really touched on, our technology is really straightforward.
At the end of the day, it's music, it's speakers, it's transducers, it's amplifiers, it's electronics, equipment, we've created everything from the ground up. It did not exist beforehand, so we're innovating and that's obviously takes time and energy. But at the end of the day, the complexity of running this business is all of the other things.
It's international logistics, it's manufacturing, distribution, import, it's working with incredible vendors, finding the right teams, a team that can coalesce, can help you with marketing and video production and all the complexities that go into the business. And one of the things that I really love about EO is that I'm there with other entrepreneurs that are trying to do the same thing. Either solopreneurs that are doing it on their own or entrepreneurs that are growing and building a team all around them at the same time.
That's amazing. Thank you for sharing that on EO, Entrepreneurs' Organization. So I am also a part of that group and I was invited by you.
And I'm very grateful because I mean, I think EO is different things for different people. For me, it has been having an operational system. Like for example, for me, I never had quarterly goals or rocks or a way to, yeah, an operational system and a way to run your business that gives you very set habits of how a business should be run.
And nobody teaches you that, right? Not even, I haven't even, I have a business degree and nobody taught me. They still don't teach you that, no. So here's what's wild.
So again, Dom's been a member, my business partner has been a member of EO for 10 years. So when we first started working together, he gave me Traction, this incredible book that talks about the EOS operating system. And we've been operating in EOS.
So when I came into EOA, it was like, okay, let's put together your VTO. I gave him my VTO, which is your annual planning document. Let's put together rocks and understand segues and how the level 10 meeting operates.
Dom and I have been running our business using that process already for two and a half years going in. Now we've been using it for close to five. It's really powerful to have that operating system and to have that formality of how you're going to build your teams, communicate, allow that information to flow upwards.
And it's an important process. Look, as we're drifting into December, we're looking at our quarterly and annual planning for 2025 and planning those two days where Dom and I are going to retreat and we're going to drop in and we're going to relax and have some fun. And we're also going to plan out what 2025 looks like, what our, adjust our one, three and five-year plans.
And I mean, it's really remarkable that, I mean, we nailed our goal almost to the dollar amount for 2024. And it's something to celebrate. You write down these goals and sure enough, you hit them.
Yes, yes. Same for me. I almost doubled my business since I started EO.
So, and I thank you for that. Because yeah, a lot of it is such a, of course you have your hard work, but the thing is that it gives you a way to orient that hard work that is going to be a little more efficient and help you grow more. Yeah.
Very cool. So one of the coolest things that I like about you is that you are the top biohacker I know. I thought I was, right? And when you're a biohacker, when you're a biohacker, you think you're the only one figuring out this shit.
You know, and there's a lot of us out there. There's a lot of people trying to become younger, healthier, better, and all these aspects of health that we just want to live longer. And if you bring it down to a common denominator.
Yeah. So the question is how do your personal biohacking practices you know, influence in harmony? It's, look, it's everything. There's really only a series of different things.
To go back to that biology, the human biology comment years ago, there's really only a few things that the human body needs in order for it to perform the way that it was so brilliantly able to perform. And I think us as humans and this society that we've co-created do a really nice job of getting in the way. We don't get enough sleep.
We don't get enough sunlight. We don't get enough movement. We're not outside.
We're supposed to be outside 85% of the time. And we're not. I have this beautiful home.
It's temperature controlled. Happens to be gorgeous out right now here in Las Vegas, but most of the time it's over a hundred degrees. It's like a sauna outside.
I treat it like a sauna, but I want to be outside 85% of the day. I want to be inside an air conditioning, right? So biohacking for me is really about various technologies that help us get back in line with the way that we have evolved, the way the human body has evolved to live. And predominantly that is calm and relaxed.
And that's where there's a couple of things that there's a number of things that biohacking I think does really beautifully and brilliantly for us as far as technology. Supplementation is meant to supplement your diet. First and foremost is getting your diet dialed in so that you're giving your body the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that it needs to perform the way that it's supposed to perform.
And then you supplement. Too many people are taking supplements and then throwing their diet out the window and eating shitty food, processed foods, fast foods, and that sort of thing. So first and foremost, diet, clean water is filtered.
Unfortunately, water has to be filtered. All of these different things that technology can help to mimic, sit in front of a red light all day because I'm not outside. I need to be creating content all day long.
So I spend a lot of time in front of a camera. I spend a lot of time in this room or at my desk creating content. I have a red light on me for most of the day.
That light is really just to mimic sunlight. So I wake up in the morning and I have a puppy. Me and puppy go outside.
I try and go outside barefoot, sometimes too cold. Like this morning was 30, 33 degrees, 34 degrees, something like that when I got outside. I will take my shoes off and get my feet on the grass in the dirt.
I'm grounding the energy from the night right off the bat, getting sunshine on my skin right off the bat. That's triggering to my circadian rhythm that it's time to start the day, right? Like there's so many different things that go into it. But at the end of the day, all of the biohacking tools that we use are really to mimic that of a natural existence.
And the one variable, because you asked how this all relates to in harmony. The one variable for me is relaxation. How do we get more relaxed? How do we spend more time in that power of sympathetic like I opened with? Because I feel like that's one of the most difficult things to conquer for many of us.
It was for me. One of the most difficult things for me was how to map it. I'm literally leaving.
It's, let's see, it's 4.20. I'm leaving tomorrow for 25 days on the road. I can't even tell you how many things that I need to piece together before I go wheels up at noon, which is like 16 hours from now. And you're doing this, we think.
I'm grateful to be here. I'll figure it out. I'll stop and work out.
We're grateful for you. Right? It's all good. But like there's, my wife is, there's a lot of stress associated with it.
So I'm going to build, I'm going to do, I'm going to knock things out. And then I'm going to hop on the sound lounge at the end of the day. And if I start to feel stressed and anxious, I'm going to hop on the sound lounge and it's going to ground me, allow me to focus, allow me to frame all the different things that I need to do and give me the power that I need to charge forward with power and strength.
And to go back to all the biohacking things that I do, there's many different things. I think the most important thing is diet and exercise. Zone two cardio, clean water, skin on skin contact, right? But at the end of the day, if you're stressed and anxious, it doesn't matter what you eat because digestion is diverted and turned off as a survival mechanism.
If you're stressed and anxious, it doesn't matter how strong or efficient your immune system is because your survival mechanism is turning off your immune system and diverting that energy to survival. At the end of the day, if you're stressed and anxious, it doesn't matter how sharp your brain is or how powerful your brain is because when you're in survival mode, your brain is turning off rational thinking so that you can stay focused on the problem and the threat at hand. So there's all these different mechanisms that are rooted in stress and anxiety that as clean of a diet as you can eat, as wonderful as the water that you can drink, as stress and anxiety is this underlying root.
So for me, optimal human performance starts with making sure you're in that parasympathetic rest, calm, rested nervous system response. And then the body can perform the way it was so brilliantly designed to perform. And then your body can take advantage of all of the different tools that you're giving it and things that you're feeding it.
So for me, vibration and sound and relaxation is at the, it's the foundation of biohacking and optimal performance. It's the base, interesting, interesting. Well, you eat, you heal yourself with your own medicine, I guess.
Yeah, look, as far as food and diet, look, there's lots of different diets out there. I have vegan friends that love it. I have carnivore friends that absolutely love it.
Here's the deal. If it comes from a box, eat less of it. If it comes from the earth, eat more of it.
Wow, and you're in good shape. Okay, that's one. Give me another two.
Another two good biohacks apart from. Get yourself outside and get your feet in the dirt as quickly as possible. So grounding.
The grounding, so look, here's the thing about grounding. You've all walked on a carpeted floor and then shaken your friend's hand and static, okay? You've laid in your sheets at night and you're creating static electricity. You're ruminating in this static electricity.
That all that energy and electricity needs to go somewhere. Otherwise, it's just pent up in your body and it's an irritant. So getting your feet outside, getting your feet on the dirt or the grass, not asphalt, not something that has a petroleum base, but getting yourself on the earth, hugging a tree, quite literally just touching a tree, all of that energy in just about a split second diverts out of you and grounds into the earth and leaves your body.
So grounding, sunlight, clean water, clean diet, connection with other people, skin-on-skin contact. These are the most important things to me every single day. And if you do that, I'm gonna live to be 150 years old.
I know that you bring this to a whole complexity, but I love it how you brought it down to very simple concepts for everybody to understand. Thank you for that. So, Craig, what do you see in the future with the community and your company? What do you see 2025 and beyond? Look, we've seen, I love this question.
Nobody knows. My crystal ball's in the shop. But here's what I'd like to see.
So what's your vision? I mean, you said you write your plans and they happen. So I'm very excited about the administration that's coming in here in the United States. I'm very excited about RFK and what he's going to do on the health side of things.
I am bullish when it comes to what the economy is gonna look like over the next four years. And I am bullish as far as what's gonna happen from a health and wellness perspective. We are set to have another renaissance when it comes to health and wellness.
No joke. I am unbelievably excited for what I see happening in the background and then what is soon to move to the foreground. We are about to have truly amazing choices for food, for pharmaceuticals, for medicine, and for therapies like in harmony, like PEMF, like red light therapy, peptides, all of these different things, psychedelic therapy, they're all gonna start to come in the forefront.
So what I'm really excited about and most excited about is what we've already seen over the last eight years and really the last four years is we have seen this trend towards humans taking their own health and wellness into their own hands. And the pandemic was, believe it or not, really kind to InHarmony in that one, it forced us to go online and begin creating video content, begin running ads, begin getting to our clientele in a different way. But it also woke a lot of people up to the fact that they need to be taking better care of themselves, that they need to maintain better health.
And at the foundation of that health is that nervous system response and keeping yourself out of stress and anxiety, out of survival mode and into rest and digest or calm and relax, nervous system response. So we have been seeing a trend that has been very prosperous for InHarmony, our community has been building and I expect that to continue into 2025. So much so that November 1st, we just reduced all of our prices across the board, exception of our cushion, which is already priced as low as it can be, but we just knocked 12% off the sound lounge too, 24% off the massage table, 28% off of the practitioner too.
And all of that is because we're ordering more product, we're forecasting more sales, we're placing larger orders with our manufacturer, they gave us a lower cost, we're passing that cost on to our customer. I don't know anybody who's lowering their prices right now. Where inflation has been over the last 12 to 18 months, I don't know anybody who was lowering their prices.
And because we're growing so fast, we're able to pass that savings on. And because I'm so bullish on what I see coming up from a health and wellness perspective, I'm really confident that this volume is going to continue and that I'm going to be able to maintain this price point. I'm super bullish.
So blue oceans and bright skies, huh? Call me an optimist. I love it. I see good things in the forecast for us and I see a lot of beautiful things happening in the very near future from a health and wellness perspective.
I see it too and you inspire me. You truly are Vegas voice, Craig Goldberg. How can people find you? I'm probably one of the most tangible person on the internet.
